If you are unsure of your rights and entitlements we can help. Galway Citizens Information Centre provides free, confidential and impartial information on any subject to anyone who asks.

We also stock a full range of application forms for and information booklets on public services.

Other services offered at Galway Citizens Information Centre:

Free Legal Advice - 2nd & 4th Thursday of every month from 7 - 8.30 pm.

Free Accounting Advice - 2nd & 4th Thursday of every month from 7 - 8.30 pm

Free Migrant Legal Service - 1st wednesday of every month from 6 - 7.30pm, appointment necessary and can be made through email or phone

Free Employment Legal Service - 2nd, 3rd & 4th Wednesday of every month from 6.30 - 8.30, appointment necessary and can be made through email or phone

Office of the Ombudsman - first Tuesday of every month 10.30 – 1 pm & 2 – 4pm

Background


Galway Citizens Information Centre is run by a mixture of volunteers, paid staff and community employment workers. It has a board of management made up of representatives drawn from various voluntary and statutory groups in Galway. It one of a network of CICs around the country.
